This condition is also known as peripheral arterial disease (PAD), peripheral vascular disease (PVD), atherosclerosis, or arterial obstruction. Symptoms of Duroziez's disease include leg pain, numbness, tingling, weakness, and cramping. It is caused by various risk factors such as smoking, diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. Treatment options include lifestyle changes, medication, and in severe cases, surgery. If left untreated, Duroziez's disease can lead to complications such as gangrene, limb amputation, and even death.
